Technical training teachers at Westerburg Vocational School got a pleasant surprise

On 06/02/2023, EWM AG was invited to visit BBS Westerburg by technical training teachers Jörg Ditscheid and Hans-Peter Philipps. During the visit, Mr Philipps expressed his appreciation for our excellent collaboration: “We’re not only fascinated by the technology of EWM AG welding machines, but even more so by the people we got the chance to work with here.”

Together with Claudia Feierabend and Martin Meyer, who are in charge of commercial and technical training at EWM, they discussed upcoming events and campaigns, and came up with a lot of exciting ideas.

They also made plans for the Open Day at BBS Westerburg on 25/03/2023, where both of our training managers will be present alongside EWM apprentices. We look forward to welcoming every visitor together with BBS on the day!

At the end of the visit, the EWM team - represented by Tim Höller, Martin Meyer, Claudia Feierabend and Leonie Becker, presented the two teachers from the technical training department and the principal Michael Niess with a special surprise to leave them overjoyed. EWM donated a new Tetrix XQ 230 to BBS Westerburg. The aim is to further increase the students’ technical interest with the aid of cutting-edge welding technology. The college team were (initially) rendered speechless, and expressed their sincere gratitude for the donation.

We would also like to thank BBS Westerburg for our longstanding, faithful partnership, and are very excited about the years to come!
