It is no easy task to find the right words to summarize in a few paragraphs what two people have achieved over several decades. Susanne Szczesny-Oßing and Robert Stöckl have played a significant role in shaping the long history of our company and have experienced many periods of change at EWM.
Now they themselves are part of it, because on October 31, 2025, an important chapter in their lives as part of the EWM management team came to an end. We say goodbye to Robert Stöckl (CSO) and Susanne Szczesny-Oßing (CEO), who both ended their active management duties at EWM GmbH on this day.
Robert Stöckl has made a decisive contribution to further developing our sales strategy and strengthening EWM's market presence worldwide. With his negotiating skills, his passion for our welding technology, and his focus on strong customer relationships, he has helped shape the company. Now, after more than 31 years at EWM, Robert is taking his well-deserved retirement!
Susanne Szczesny-Oßing is a fixture within the EWM family and one of the most important voices in our company: having joined the company in 1984 and being part of the founding family, she has played a key role in shaping EWM's development over the decades. During this time, she led with foresight, a passion for innovation, and a deep understanding of the values of our family business. Her strategic expertise and tireless dedication have had a lasting impact on EWM.
Both were not only leaders, but also bridge builders – between tradition and innovation, strategy and team, vision and day-to-day business. Their departure marks a change in which we look back with respect on their achievements and at the same time look ahead with courage.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Susanne and Robert for their great contribution to what EWM is today. Their legacy will continue to be felt, and we are delighted that they will remain connected to the company in new ways.
